I'm confused, is 80lb cardstock heavier than 110lb

Likely what you bought is 100 lb INDEX card stock, while the 80 lb is COVER stock. 110 lbs index is about 70 lb Cover so the 80 lb cover would actually be thicker than the 110 lb. Pounds is confusing, I always use a printer that measure their card stock in points like printingpeach.

Jun 18, 2008Best Answer I think this refers to the weight of paper. Like I always buy 24 pound paper for my printer. Cheaper paper is lightweight 20 pound paper. Card stock is much heavier. I'm not sure about the weight of cover paper stock.
